FOUNDER - PRIEST AT CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION

Cliff has a passion for helping others heal. As a special operations flight medic, he cared for trauma patients around the world. After earning his master’s degree as a physician assistant, Cliff worked with local doctors and nurses in impoverished and war-torn lands teaching primary and preventative health.

Cliff has been practicing Functional Medicine since 2015. During that first year, he began to discern a connection between physical health and the depths of his faith in Christ. In 2020 he finished his second master’s degree, with a special interest in historical Christian spirituality, with a deep desire to better understand the intersection of faith and wellness. Understanding that real healing requires real relationships, Cliff has come to understand that we are designed to live and thrive in creation, together.

His experiences bring holistic insight to the needs of those he cares for – incorporating Mind, Body, and Spirit to bring about true flourishing for each individual, and empowering each other to help strengthen our community.

FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

After six years as a labor and delivery nurse in a community hospital, I am excited to begin a new journey as a family nurse practitioner with the RISEN wellness family.

Born and raised in Clarksville, I graduated high school from Clarksville Academy in 2013 and went on to receive my BSN in 2017 and MSN in 2022 from Austin Peay State University. Go Govs!

My favorite title is “wife” and “momma” to our 3 littles. I enjoy working out, walking, reading, camping, and spending time with friends at a park or coffee shop. My role as momma, wife, daughter, and friend has truly prepared me more for this role as advocate and provider than any textbook.

I’m passionate about helping others live in the fullness God designed them for, even in a fallen world. I’ve personally been a patient at RISEN wellness and have seen the fruit of seeking functional medicine. I believe wholeheartedly that each person was created for a purpose and together we can get you back the energy, health, and desire you need to live fully in that!

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

As I finished my time on active duty, I realized that my faith in Christ relates strongly to how I desire to practice medicine. My passion and drive for helping patients feel heard and walking with them on their journey to wellness is what brought me to RISEN wellness.

I am very excited to be part of the team. I have lived in middle Tennessee for almost 20 years, and thus, I call it home. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska.

I have served with the Tennessee Army National Guard for 17 years, where I deployed to Iraq in 2008 as an Intelligence Analyst. Since that time, I have served in various roles within the Guard, all leading me to PA School. I truly believe God called me to this profession and I will never ever doubt the ways in which He provides when you truly say “Yes.”

I am a devout Catholic and the “cool” Aunt; I love to travel and read, but the place where you are most likely to find me outside of work is CrossFit Ergon. I have a passion for strength and wellness and believe in living by example. I love to run, go hiking with my parents, walk on the greenway, and just be outside in nature.

I am passionate about giving back to the Clarksville community and helping patients find true health at RISEN wellness.

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

Lisa devotes herself to client care, tending to the stories and study of trauma with diligence and compassionate curiosity. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2021.

With a deep commitment to supporting others, Lisa has worked with adolescents, adults, and couples facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, neglect, infidelity, physical or sexual abuse in childhood, war exposure, burnout and more. She combines insight with action, guiding her clients toward whole-person healing and growth.

Lisa launched into studying mental health after being a special operations military wife, championing advocacy and unity in Family Readiness Organizations throughout Cliff's military career. She is a mother of three and delights in her family. In her free time, you can catch her reading, hiking or gardening. Lisa finds deep fulfillment in partnering with RISEN wellness, where she collaborates with clients on their journeys toward emotional, physical and spiritual healing.

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Michael is an experienced Social Worker who works with individuals, couples and groups, offering compassionate care through various therapeutic approaches. He serves diverse populations, including veterans, individuals in recovery, children, and parents. A strong advocate, Michael stands alongside those he serves, providing practical support throughout their healing journey.
